Adam Rouser is in the throes of depression after his longtime girlfriend, Jazzy Robinson, leaves him. And, as he usually does, he searches for the answers to life in the bottom of a bottle. When he’s approached by Devin Faust and his associate Benjamin Shepherd with an interesting proposition, Adam jumps at the chance. Who wouldn’t want to play God for a week? To right the wrongs of the world, and of themselves?
But Adam soon realizes, with the help of his drug-addicted sister, Chel, that pain and pleasure are not at all what they seem, and that the Space Between, a place Jaz knows all too well, is where meaning all culminates.
