Well, I don’t know about you but I’ve been a busy bee. Mostly because it was either that or exercise and eat right and I think we all know that wasn’t going to happen. (Red velvet in pajama pants. Yes.)
So, what’s been the happs since last we spoke? Let me tell you!
The Space Between (87 Days)
There’s been some work done here, though it’s been sporadic at best. The reason for this is because A.) I have a lot of other things going on and I’m not a “write everyday” writer, and B.) I became stuck on how to logically get from one scene to the next.
But rest assured, friends, that this is still very much on the docket and will be getting done in the near-ish future. People will die, so get ready for that.
Picking Up A Hitchhiker
This, dear followers, is a screenplay I started on the fly after I made a writing prompt for Novel Writing & Editing. It’s a dark comedy and I’ve had enormous fun writing scenes for it! I hope to show more of this as I go, but it’s a new thing for me as I’ve never done a screenplay before and there’s a learning curve.
Novel Writing & Editing
I’ve added more free master lists and articles to the site, got some more products lined out for it, and the team developed some more cool digital downloads, which is sweet.
Also, as usual, they’re still offering editing and ghostwriting services plus author platform setups. But the coolest thing we’ve got going on is the…
“Choose Your Own Adventure” Collaborative!!!
Yes my good friends, we at NWE have started work on what will be the world’s largest novel collaboration in choose your own adventure history!
So far we have 27 writers, who will each write a chapter in this ultra cool adult novel that will take you back to the days of your youth when you turned to Page 32 to go left in the woods!
I write chapter one and of course I went dark, because why not, but it’s exciting that this thing could literally take any random turn because of the genre differences in the writers on board.
Guys. It’s going to be so cool. I can’t even handle it. It’s almost too cool for me.
Well, farming is a year round endeavor so I’ve been helping with that. Also, my oldest is starting school this fall so I’ve basically been an emotional wreck every time I think about dropping him off on his first day even though I still have a few weeks to another him in motherly love.
Housewifery, which I have been KILLING (but don’t verify that with my husband just take my word for it) and generally not working out or eating right (again, because red velvet food and pajama pants exist.)
So, update done, D.A. out, until next time! As always, thanks for being a beautiful soul and for going on legs of this journey called life with me!
